They're built entirely by hand by a small and select group of luthiers at Alhambra guitars and are unique instruments, each with its own personality. Mengual y Margarit and Jose Maria Vilaplana are flamenco guitars which were baptized with the names of the master luthiers of the firm. These guitars are the result of years of research, patient learning and development of novel techniques of sound efficiency. The Jose Maria Vilaplana Flamenca model is an exquisite design, made from the highest quality materials. As a result of the demanding process of construction, this guitar model is not only aesthetically pleasing; its highest virtues are revealed when it is put into action: a surrounding and powerful sound, robust and delicate at the same time in staccato, arpeggio or whilst strumming. Savarez 520R High tension strings (red card). For classical and flamenco guitar. Traditional basses. High tension Rectified Traditional trebles. The trebles have an unpolished texture that aids in control and vibrato.
