Light to the touch, and extremely comfortable, this guitar is handmade by Alhambra guitars with a thin back and sides for increased resonance and a lively response. Guided by traditional design concepts, it produces a sonorous and sweet sound and a fully balanced and consistent tone along the fingerboard. The solid German spruce soundboard is strong, but light and offers an immediate response, punchy sound and enhanced volume. Coupled with the solid cypress back and sides, the Alhambra 10FC produces a quintessentially crispy, percussive and dry flamenco blanco sound.
With comfortable ergoneck and two bone saddles, allowing the guitarist to modify the action of the strings to their liking. High quality finishes on this powerhouse of a guitar include an ebony reinforcement inside the neck, golden luxury tuners and a gloss finish. A transparent pikguard protects the soundboard. The Alhambra 10FP PIÑANA is a professional flamenco negra guitar ideal for advanced students, teachers and concert guitarists. With a matte finish which produces a more powerful sound, this beautiful instrument was designed with the collaboration of the flamenco guitar player Carlos Piñana. Light to the touch, it is made with thin solid Indian rosewood back and sides for increased resonance and lively response and has a premium solid cedar top.
