The back (with exquisite bookmatching work) and the sides are made from Indian rosewood. The Alhambra 8P is a fine example of how the luthiers at Alhambra Guitars focus on every last detail in their guitar-construction. A light nitro-lacquer finish allows a pure vibration of the woods to achieve a superb sound.  It has an internal ebony reinforcement in the neck of the guitar.
