It consists of a thin piece of softwood that is supported by 7 braces, with 2 harmonic bars at the bottom. The qualities of the woods used include a close grain count and high stiffness to mass ratio, which allow maximum output for the minimum input, and contribute to its resilience, light weight and resonance. Beautifully hand-made in Spain, with an inlaid wooden rosette, this guitar is the perfect example of the love the Alhambra guitar makers have for their craft. The neck of the guitar features an internal ebony reinforcement. For the construction of the body of the 5 P model, which together with the top is what most influences the sound of the guitar, we have used an internal bars design consisting of a thin wood that is supported by seven bars, two of them on the lower part. This construction system contributes to a stronger, yet lighter instrument, as well as improving the sound, giving it more body, warmth and richness. The Admira A2 EF is made with a solid cedar top and sapelly back and sides, and the combination of these noble woods produces a sound which is both clean and crisp. The assembly system used in this model is the 'Spanish heel', whereby part of the neck in incorporated into the body. This system, which is far superior to a glued neck, is significantly more complex to design and make, but worth the effort: the sonic advantages include increased volume and greater stability and sustain.
