Prudencio Saez have been manufacturing high quality classical and flamenco guitars in Valencia, Spain, since 1963
Prudencio Sáez set up shop in the Spanish province of Valencia in 1963, after completing his training as a guitar-maker in the workshops of other experienced luthiers and craftsmen.
Saez was a true believer in the authentic artisan style of guitar-making, and to this day their techniques are as unhurried and painstakingly meticulous as those of yesteryear; they themselves describe their workshop as a place where time appears to have stood still. And their philosophy has certainly paid off: practice has made perfect. They have become experts in the art of making outstanding classical and flamenco guitar models, renowned for their excellent price-quality ratio.
At Prudencio Sáez, the only concession to the modern world the manager of the firm, Prudencio Sáez III, has made, is to expand their catalogue to respond to the contemporary market. They produce studio guitars, cutaway and amplified guitars, concert models and everything in between. Their extensive inventory also features mandolins, lutes and bandurrias.
